Mary Kay Thurlkill, CIPP/US, CIPM, FIP
With more than 24 years at AT&T, Mary Kay Thurlkill is a Director of Privacy in the Chief Privacy Office. She is presently responsible for the management and support of the Consent Strategy Program. Her range of responsibilities have included PIAs/DPIAs, establishing Privacy Program initiatives, emerging technology imperatives, and leading enterprise-wide initiatives regarding data de-identification, artificial intelligence/machine learning, and the use of sensitive data and biometric information. Mary Kay is passionate about creating Privacy Advocates and she shares that passion through one-on-one Privacy employee onboarding, documenting and maintaining privacy resources, writing Blogs, distributing short Privacy podcast-like recordings, creating Privacy Lunch & Learns, and presents on numerous areas impacting the Privacy landscape. She authored and maintains a detailed Privacy Training Guidebook for employees seeking a deeper understanding of Privacy at AT&T.
Mary Kay holds a bachelor’s degree from Webster University, is PMP, CIPP/US, CIPM, and FIP certified. She is also a CASA volunteer.
