About the IAPP

Gretchen Tucker is the Chief Risk Officer at BeesMont Law Limited, a boutique commercial law firm in Hamilton, Bermuda. She shares joint responsibility for Corporate Strategy with the Managing Partner and Chief Financial Officer of the firm and is further responsible for the supervision of the Junior Compliance & Projects Officer in connection with the development of the firm’s privacy programme and various compliance initiatives.

She further is employed as Counsel, Head of Regulatory & Governance. As a London-trained barrister, she provides advice and representation in connection with regulatory compliance, administrative decision-making, statutory interpretation, policy development and legal reform in connection with privacy, access to information and the use of employee and health information. She also supports clients and their interactions with Bermuda government watchdogs and regulators.

In January 2019, Ms. Tucker established a new standing sub-committee of the Bermuda Bar Council for the Advancement of Privacy Law and Appropriate Regulation of the Legal Industry (APLLI). Since the formation of APLLI, she has sat as the Chairperson of the sub-committee.

She regularly supports the development of privacy careers in Bermuda and participates in various privacy forums.
