Samir is a Partner with the Consulting practice of Ernst & Young LLP in India. Samir has also worked with global financial services companies like Morgan Stanley and Nomura. Samir has 22+ years of progressive management experience with focus on the Banking and Financial services vertical. Samir is a qualified Chartered Accountant and also a CIPM, CISA, CISSP, CIA and CFE.

Samir has extensive experience in Privacy, Third Party Risk Management, IT Audit, Service Organisation Controls Reporting (SOCR) and regulatory compliance domains. Samir is a thought leader and practice lead for privacy including India Privacy and various other global regulatory and compliance requirements in the privacy and risk domains.

Samir has researched and published papers and articles on the Third Party Risk Management and Data privacy domains. Samir has also served as a founding Chair of the IAPP Mumbai, India KnowledgeNet from 2018 to 2021. Samir is a regular speaker at various leading industry forums and events on Privacy and various risk domains.
