Ifeanyi E. Okonkwo is the deputy head of the technology and media sector at Jackson, Etti & Edu (JEE Africa), and a highly sought-after data privacy lawyer in the Africa space.

As the team lead of the data privacy practice, Ifeanyi has conducted over 50 data privacy audits and conducted over 30 data privacy training for both local, regional and multinational organisations. He has also advised several global leading multinationals on navigating data privacy issues in Africa. 

He has assisted companies through resolving data breach notification to authorities, crisis management in informing data subject of data breaches, and assisting companies in the preventing violations of the data privacy laws and sanctions.

Ifeanyi is also a policy expert on intellectual property and data privacy laws; and is one of the experts that contributed to the Nigeria’s data privacy regulations.
