About the IAPP

Lara Ueberfeldt is Senior Corporate Counsel at Amazon Web Services (AWS) where she provides legal counsel on data protection and cloud services, with a particular focus on digital sovereignty. She is a key legal advisor for the AWS European Sovereign Cloud. Prior to joining AWS, Lara specialized in IT and data protection law at Bird & Bird LLP. She studied law at Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich and University College London and gained international legal experience working in New York.
