About the IAPP

Ani Gevorkian is a Director of Public Policy in the Office of Responsible AI at Microsoft. In this role, she draws on nine years of experience as a tech regulatory lawyer and partners with internal and external stakeholders to advance policies that secure the benefits of AI while guarding against its risks. Ani previously supported Microsoft's quantum computing program. Prior to joining Microsoft, Ani practiced at Covington & Burling, focusing on privacy and communications regulatory matters. She received a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and a JD from Harvard Law School.
