Houman Saberi
Houman Saberi is currently the Operations Manager for Permission Slip, an authorized agent app created by Consumer Reports that allows users to exercise their data privacy rights. In this role he leads industry relations, request processing, and customer experience while overseeing millions of data rights requests and engaging with hundreds of companies and users to ensure that requests are processed as efficiently as possible.
Prior to this he worked at the New America Foundation where he oversaw the build-out of decentralized, community-built internet infrastructure in partnership with local businesses, civic organizations, and residents.
He holds a MS in urban planning from Columbia University and bachelors in Biology from the University of Chicago. He is also an avid scuba diver and former Peace Corps volunteer.
