About the IAPP

Magdalena Kogut-Czarkowska is a counsel and an attorney-at-law at Timelex, Brussels based new technologies law firm, and a legal researcher at the Faculty of Law and Criminology, Ghent University (Belgium) . She specializes in IT, privacy and data protection, cyber security and intellectual property law. Magdalena has vast experience with handling complex international privacy projects (GDPR and e-privacy) and high-profile strategic IT and IP matters. Prior to joining Timelex in November 2020, Magdalena worked 14 years as a lawyer in the IPTech team of one of the largest international law firms in Warsaw. Currently, she is involved in various projects in the areas of data protection, technology, e-health and artificial intelligence.
