About the IAPP

Myriam Gufflet is Head of Sector for Litigations and International Affairs at the Secretariat of the European Data Protection Board (EDPB), based in Brussels. She has been working in the EDPB’s legal team since 2020. Prior to joining the EDPB, Myriam worked at the French and UK data protection supervisory authorities (CNIL and ICO), where she advised internal and external stakeholders on national, European, and international data protection matters. In addition, Myriam worked as a senior consultant with Promontory (an IBM Company) in London, where she assisted private sector multinational organisations implementing complex compliance programmes covering both GDPR and Binding Corporate Rules (BCR) requirements.
