About the IAPP

Taeuk Kang served his tenure as judge from 2002 prior to joining Bae, Kim, and Lee LLC in 2007. At BKL, Mr. Kang mainly focuses his practice on legal advice and litigation in three areas: i) various legal affairs of IT companies, including e-Commerce and online game industry, ii) data privacy, and iii) intellectual property rights.

Mr. Kang currently serves as a member of various expert committees in the areas of intellectual property, data protection, e-Commerce, games, etc., in his capacity as arbitrator on the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board, member of the eSports Fairness Committee, and advisor to the Personal Information Protection Commission.
